Our mission at RUSCO is simple: to always be assisting Americans abroad live a more comfortable future with honest and trusted advice.
The organization was founded by Dewey Dale Archer III, known by his colleagues and peers as Trey. As an American who has spent much of his life overseas working as an expat financial advisor, he’s provided financial advice to thousands of individuals from around the globe on how to grow and protect their wealth.
Our values at RUSCO are honesty, respect, trust, open-mindedness and optimism. In today’s ever volatile, globalized world, it’s vital to possess a sense of optimism and open-mindedness. And by sticking to our values of honesty, respect and trust, RUSCO has partnered up with a team of American expat CPA tax specialists, legal experts and various financial institutions to ensure RUSCO provides world-class consultation.
We look forward to building a valued partnership with you and are more than happy to assist you in any way possible.

I’m originally from the state of Louisiana, USA, and attended the George Washington University’s Elliott School, graduating with a BA with Honors in International Affairs. I’m also in the process of completing an Executive MBA with a concentration in Finance from Hult International Business School. My studies and career have taken me to over one hundred countries, while my international experience has allowed me to add Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin to my list of fluent languages.
I currently work for one of Asia’s largest and most renowned expat financial service companies out of their Shanghai regional office. Professionally I am qualified by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) with an Award in Financial Planning (AFP) and am fully qualified to give expert advice to expatriates all over the world. I strictly adhere to the CII code of conduct and best industry practices, reviewing all of my clients’ accounts every month to ensure they and their families receive the right advice.
Even though I thoroughly enjoy using my experience and linguistic skills to work with a vast network of people from all over the world, I specialize in advising Americans abroad. After seeing that American expats and even myself were at a huge disadvantage due to the United States’ citizen-based taxation policy, FATCA and other laws, I made it my personal goal to help Americans overseas take control. Since starting RUSCO I have continued working with non-US nationalities, but concentrate on solutions for Americans abroad and those renouncing US citizenship.
In my spare time I write about various expat related topics, from finance and investing to culture and travel. Along with blogging for the RUSCO website blog, I also contribute to a number of other international websites and periodicals.
